Hello,
Does anyone know if there are community health positions in Hawaii?
Also what are the main hospitals/clinics on the Kona side of the big island?

My wife and I are also RN's, and jobs appear to be scarce due to budget cuts from the downturn in tourism and the economy in general. The economy went downhill just as we were looking to relocate to the Big Island, unfortunately. She is Canadian also, has worked in Montreal and Edmonton. We are keeping an eye on things here on City Data to see when job opportunities might open up. Good luck in your search ! George and Sandy.

Aloha! I dont remember hearing about any sizeable hospitals in Kailua Kona. But that doesnt mean there isnt one. They just built a new hospital a couple years ago in Hilo on the east side of the island and there is a hospital in Waimea also. Malama pono
