I would definately check out container rates as well. It's really not that difficult to palletize boxes, but then again if you aren't shipping very much stuff, then USPS or FedEX or UPS would probably do.

One other thing I'll add. Be careful as most boxes when they give dimensions are giving INTERIOR dimensions. I thought I was being so smart by getting UHaul boxes that just perfectly fit under USPS guidelines (XLarge I think). When I got to the post office I was like 1/2" too large on the add everything up measurement because of the thickness of the cardboard. They made me cut my boxes and fold them over to meet the measurements.

Our UHaul medium size boxes made the trip much better than the Large or Xtra-Large. We'll probably ship much more back in medium boxes.
