New Car Tax Questions (buying, living in, price)

I am currently deployed to Iraq and am thinking about buying a new car while I'm here and having it arrive as I get back to Hawaii. I am hoping that someone can shed some light onto the tax and fees of buying a new car. My questions are:

- What is the tax rate for military new car purchases? (it will be picked up at a hawaii dealer)

-Does Hawaii new vehicles tax qualify for the stimulus on my yearly taxes?

-What fees besides taxes are there for a new vehicle?

-Any other advice, the price available over here is way better than in Hawaii, so is there anything i should know or expect from the dealer when i pick it up?

As each Hawaii County has slightly different rules, you will need to call the county you will be living in to ask these questions. Don't rely upon web sites or internet info for this.
