Maui for a J1 (Kihei: rentals, look for a job, moving)

Myself and 3 friends from Ireland are heading to Muai on a J1 this summer. We are trying to sort out some accommodation before we try focusing on jobs...Does anyone have any advice on rent (where to find places, where is good or not), we were looking to stay in Kihei. But finding rental for us is proving harder to find, any one any suggestions or even on jobs in Kihei (I hope I spelt that right).

hi i just came back from maui with my wife and its great i stood in ka anapali ..heres a number for a maui remax in kihei.808 879 6264 im moving down there next aug and i cant wait ...i will be there next march to look for a job and apt rentals ..as for a job look on craigslist hawaii you will find lots of postings there for maui jobs ..listen good luck and aloha..maybe we will run into eachother someday ..its a small world
