Default Moving to Honolulu

My husband and I are moving to Honolulu from Kansas. We are not military so we are subject to civilian moving companies and cost. I hear Matson is a great car moving company and we can drive to San Francisco from here. I am having trouble getting my hands on a company that will give me a price quote for the few vital things we will need to ship. And I am wondering who does a great job. Anyone know of a few good companies?

Call Royal Hawaiian Movers. Royal Hawaiian Movers They coordinated my move from Nevada to Kona. Their estimate was very accurate although you have to watch movers, in general, like a hawk. I had 5 wooden crates, 4X4X8, in 2004 cost a little over $6000 door to door.

Be sure every conversation is backed up by a e-mail summarizing the conversation so that you have a "written record" of every detail. Do not neglect this issue.
