Every Wal-Mart charges prices differently. Where I am, we have 3 Wal-Marts within a relatively close proximity to each other and you will find 3 different prices for the same item. Doesn't vary much, but it is noticeable if you pay attention.

Default wal-mart prices

Actually, I think they are pretty much the same . . . hard to say because when I go to Wal-Mart I load up on local items not available in Mainland stores. But for example, looking at my receipt my last visit so you can compare:
32oz powerade .78 cents (plus that HI deposit fee of 6 cents)
Scotch Brite non-scratch scrub sponges 6 pack $6.97 (seems expensive)
Oregon Chai latte concentrate 32oz boxes $3.28 each
Gatorade 32 oz. $1.00
Sam's Choice calorie free peach/black cherry sparkling drinks 74 cents
hmmm, the rest are hawaiian sunset calendar, li hing snacks, manapua, li hing mango, arare snacks, red iso peanuts, wasabi peanuts, local kine stuff . . .
Here is my costco receipt: 5lb bag organic baby carrots $5.99
Amy's Organic Enchiladas frozen 6 pack $14.39
6 pack Romaine Hearts $5.99
Golden local Pineapples $1.99 each
8 cans of kidney beans $5.89
Pinot Noir $13.99
Anchovies 6 cans $5.49 (fo puttanesca)
rest, local kine stuff like poke, namasu, akamai oatcakes, sashimi platter. . .

Hey thanks a lot. Giving me those prices from receipt helped a lot! Scotch brite pads high. Your organic foods are higher anyways too.

Walmarts prices on Hawaii are higher just because of the added shipping cost. But the general savings spread (percentage) would be about the same.
