Default Is there any swine flu in Hilo yet?

Aloha,

I'll be visiting next week and am interested to know if are any suspected or confirmed cases of swine flu in the Hilo area. Being pregnant I am in one of those high risk categories and want to do my best to avoid getting ill. Mahalo.

On the news last night they said there has been I think 88 cases confirmed so far in Hawaii. I believe that most if not all are in Oahu.

There are 2 confirmed cases of swine flu in Kea'au, which is just south of Hilo. According to the Hawai'i Tribune-Herald, both cases involved students at the local campus of the Kamehameha Schools. Both students live in the same house and one of them caught the virus off-island and gave it to the other one.
