How many people can be legally transported in the back of a pickup truck? (11 seems to be one too many unless you have a big pickup)
Good I have a big truck aka ... taxi
In dense fog or rain, do you have to turn on your headlights? (of course not, invisible cows, pigs, goats or sheep don't pay attention to your headlights, so why bother?)
Is it dark out?
How many children are allowed to be in one vehicle, all without seatbelts or child safety seats? (depends if they can all have room to run around, have seen 7 in a mini-van)
see above truck!
What is the maximum number of lanes permissible to cross when performing a right-hand turn from the farthest left-hand lane? (2 - there aren't any roads with more lanes than that)

Oh and when Hawaii says Valid Out of State Driver's License, they mean it has not expired. If your license expires on Monday and you show up first thing on Tuesday morning as the doors open, you have to do the whole thing, drivers test including!
(That was another of those stupid things I didn't read in my relocation package)

Call them and ask.
Hilo: 808-961-2222
Going to the source is a better option than people's opinions on the internet.

Yep, contact the office and ask them as they are the ones who issue the license. I had a B with H-N-X, They were willing to waiver the driving skill test if i just got a B. The waiver was based on a road test taken just 60 days before relocating to Hawaii, so they made the decission to issue a waiver based on that. But I also had a H,N, and X endorsement and that required a skill/road test. You will need to take a skills test for any endorsement.
