You notice not a lot of folks are stepping up to post their favorite fishing spots, huh? We have a delicate ecosystem and it doesn't take much for spots to get fished out. So, when fishing, only take what you can eat.

This also works for any hunting and gathering. Some friends and I have taken to planting food plants in feral spots. Little taros and sweet potatoes are easy to plant and they grow without any attention needed. Whenever and wherever you can, plant something edible. It may not feed you later, but more than likely someone or something will find joy in it.

Lots of fish, lots of sharp rocks. What kind of fishing are you used to?

When I was younger, I made a page on shoreline fishing:

No fishing license required if you catch for your self. But if you sell it to markets then you need a license.

Nice page Nicolai! I like the parts about catch and release as well as the notes on spawning season so we can encourage the population growth of our favorite fishes. We eat the occasional fish, but the majority of what we catch is put back because of size or species.
