I can't tell you exactly, because my husband actually arranged that part of the move. We had a 20' container and paid around 7k I think, from Fort Collins and including the Young Bros. leg from Honolulu to Kaunakakai. We spent a few hundred more to have the container hauled to our house, and unloaded, since I am here by myself until December.

And, of course, we shipped (and paid for) the car separately, so that it would be here when I got here. I ended up having to rent a car anyway, while my own vehicle was being repaired. Which speaks to being financially prepared for such emergencies, while you negotiate with the shippers for compensation.

I should also say that this is our experience only. I imagine that there are a lot of variables to contend with.

Feel free to contact me privately if you have other specific questions.

Again thank you, you have been very helpful! I hope you are enjoying your time on the island, I know that we are looking forward to going back. We had lived on Maui for five years and can't wait to be back home. Many blessing to you and your family
