Positive experiences with West Point Relocation to BI?
I know no complaints are allowed on the forum so if anyone with personal experience (other than what's already been posted-- I read it all) with West Point Relocation would kindly email me with positives or negatives I would appreciate it.
I saw the BBB report and also that it was only 18 unhappy people in 4 years time. Are there any happy customers out there?
Our move is in 2 weeks so it's pack ourselves or get them to do it all. At 7 months pregnant I would rather have them do it )
mahalo!!

We called them for a quote. Good heavens, they sell harder than the used car lot! There were several times when we got 2 calls a day from them over the course of 6 months.
We just went with Matson. No breakage *at all*, but we did pack it ourselves and had a sealed container.

I recommend using North American. In the long run they would have been cheaper. more professional and our shipment would have arrived on time.
You have other options, use them not West Point Relocations.
If anyone has some suggestions on working with West Point and obtaining compensation - I would love to hear from you.
Thank you in advance.

i called them right after i have my stuff shipped. I have not heard from the for about 4 weeks now - even though I called three-four times to track my stuff. the owner requested another 2,000 to pay right in the middle of picking up our stuff bec. we supposedly had more overweight boxes. So we did.
I have not heard anything from them - someone took my calls and she kep saying "they are in a meeting - someone will get back to you!!!
Hwuz that for a positive nightmare!!! Just go with Matson - pay more but worth it.

we had them ship a motorcycle and boxes of the important things we wanted. they said 3 weeks to 6 weeks now its been almost 2 months. we call them daily and next week is always their reply. now they said they will credit $700.00 to us. because we have to pay for the company in hawaii separately now since their contract is up. still no credit on my account. and they have all our things. And now we have to pay another company a huge amount to get our things. west point relocation never again. Dennis is the foreman we had on our shipment. and he asked us to pay $300 cash because it exceeded the weight. and a $1100.00 charge on my credit card. I would like to dispute charges but the things they have far exceed that value. We too feel robbed

Ugh.
I've often wondered in such a situation if you could get a sympathetic LEO to arrest one of the officers of the company for theft.

Md328: We have a similar situation, were asked to pay another company to release our goods too, with the promise of a refund. I'd be very careful with this. We did pay and did get our stuff but am still battling for refund.
I sincerely hope you get your stuff and good luck, if you have anything further, send me a message.
