My wife and I are both xray techs (CT and Angio/cathlab) and are looking for hospitals, clinics, or private practices that are hiring. Any advice on hospitals to contact or hospitals to stay away from for that matter? Any advice is appreciated, thanks

Which island are you considering? I don't think there are that many hospitals that you wouldn't be able to contact them all even if you called all of them in the state, although if you knew which island that would narrow things down considerably.

We live on Maui and my husband is also an XRay tech. He works at a clinic which is at full staff right now but that could also be changing. It's called Maui Medical Group if you wanted to contact them. I know they were just training a couple of students who just graduated and then hired on so, like I said, they may be at full capacity at the moment. There is really only one big hospital here and that is Maui Memorial. I think they are fully staffed right now too. Things are always changing though....people come and go a lot so put your feelers out! Also, there are probably more opportunities on Oahu which is where Honolulu is so it's definitely a busier island.
My hubby also works part time on the island of Molokai and I think they might need help although there is REALLY not a whole lot going on that island....not sure if you would like to work for the hospital there either. Anyway, hope you find what you are looking for! We are actually trying to get off the island, so like I said....keep your feelers out!
