Early reports are saying 10-15 ft. waves at Pago Pago. IF it hits Hawaii, first wave will be at 1:11 PM HST. Sirens would start about 1 hour earlier.

10-15 foot is only a decent surf day. I thought these things are suppose to be 50 feet?

Its not just the height of the wave its also the pre low tide and the the what I call the depth of the wave these can carry a larger volume of water than a normal wave.

please people do NOT panic! it is still considered to be a tsunami WATCH for the hawaiian islands. it is NOT a tsunami WARNING! big difference!
it now may have been downgraded to an ADVISORY for the hawaiian islands. beaches may be closed until tomorrow a.m due to surges and tidal/current changes.
