My son hiked out one time w/ some friends and they roasted hot dogs on the lava! LOL too funny.

Would that make them "Vog Dogs" or "Sulfur Dogs"?

I've been contemplating whether global warming has anything to do with increased volcanic activity. After Pinatubo volcano in the Philippines blew up so much ash and vog went into the air that it cooled down the whole globe by one degree. (At least according to the scientists who wrote the article I read) As we clean up smog and such, that would contribute to heating the earth, too, wouldn't it? Since more sunlight would reach the earth's surface. Which would then increase volcanic activity until we get more vog and ash which would then cool off the earth and less volcanic activity. So perhaps Pele is doing her bit to decrease global warming?

I don't see how the lava is going to help much with slowing down global warming, but it would give us something to contemplate while watching it cross the road.

Oh, hey! Okay, I don't actually have the answer yet, but maybe someone here will know - "why did the lava cross the road?"

"why did the lava cross the road?"

So the county could spend money to rebuild the road?
