i'm hoping the rental market is still the same in 6 months when i get there and start looking for something permanent. the article certainly made it sound like it would still be a good outlook for me. fingers crossed tho!
md-yeah. i'm at work right now & dreading driving home. i was under the impression of less than an inch of snow w/ little accumulation. they changed the forecast after it started snowing to expect at least 2 inches on the ground w/ blowing & drifting. my dad just called to tell me to stay on the main roads b/c there were 6 cars in the ditch between tremont & morton (like 6 or 7 miles). and i'm watching news clips from ur local news right now. can't wait to be there!
I will be sooo glad when snow is just something I see up at the top of Mauna Kea! Here in north-east california, it has been snowing for days and days.
As KoaKine said = that is a four letter word, a very bad, bad, bad four letter word! ;-)
Hey mdand3boys, I am curious on the rental application process. I have looked at a couple of rental applications, seems they want credit checks, rental feferences, personal refs, blood sample, urine sample, three goats, two chickens, and a fatted calf. Do you think they have lightened up a bit?
Aloha
