Dudes! I'm back!
JUST back and still a little zonked from the travel so will update more in the next day or so.
Wanted to let you know that I got there, back, and all around the islands with no problem (except for some wonky city planning in Honolulu LOL). No sunburn or other disasters - a few mosquito bites were the worst of it.
Ate local food and other tasty treats. Saw some incredible sites and had some exciting adventures. The highlight was the lava flow - more about that later - still get all tingly thinking about it.
Thanks again to each and every one of you who offered advice here and shared my excitement for this trip!
