Paddywagons is on a distinguished road
Well - so much for bad luck! I wonder if he sent the $15000 back too? I think we would all be willing to help him get lucky and take that bad-luck horrible $15000 off his back for him. Some people just don't know when they have it good!

Your lucky to have the best of the weather in both your homes. I love LA, but I know about crowds too as I have lived in NYC and South Florida - road rage, aggression, homicidal maniacs, you name it! I love visiting these places, and probably always will for some godly unknown reason, but I want to live paradise just like you. I'm in South Florida and it's just too flat and overbuilt, not to forget to mention how incredibly humid it gets in the summers. I lived in NYC for several years, and have visited Santa Monica, I know what you mean about the ocean in both. I've travelled around a bit, and I too have seen water so clear as you describe in Hawaii- it makes me almost want to drink it! I hope your 6 years goes so well you can cut it much shorter. I just can't wait to move. I retire in 18 months as I've worked in government, so I get out a little earlier that most people, I just hope the cost of living doesn't continue to skyrocket in Hawaii, it would oneday be prohibitive to live there if it keeps going up from. Either way, I know I'll be there - even if it means working part-time to supplement my living expenses. I have a terrible habit of wanting to eat only the best foods, visit the best places, do the most exciting things; you know what I mean?
