Have you had medicare refuse to pay claim?

If you have any doubts as to whether or not an exam will be paid for, have your doctor refer you (make the appointment ) as a diabetic.

Bette: You might look into the Medicare Advantage programs. These often cover additional services such as vision and hearing that regular Medicare doesn't cover. In the next few years Obamacare will be cutting subsidies for these, so they will be somewhat less attractive. But with your vision problems they still may be preferable.
