Cost containment and we ought to pay for something. Health cost got out of control when insurance when from catastrophic to almost everything.

Bette: You might look into the Medicare Advantage programs. These often cover additional services such as vision and hearing that regular Medicare doesn't cover. In the next few years Obamacare will be cutting subsidies for these, so they will be somewhat less attractive. But with your vision problems they still may be preferable.
