But since this isn't actually a "government takeover of the healthcare industry", everyone will have to be vigilant to be sure their provider isn't over-charging or sending in fake claims.

The report describes how the Social Security Administration under Commissioner Michael Astrue pressured administrative law judges to decide a high volume of cases, and in doing so, “failed to ensure they produced quality decisions.”

“Congress has acted as if getting more people on the program is more important than conducting oversight,” said Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., who led the staff probe along with Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich. “With the clock ticking on the Social Security trust fund, the people who are truly disabled pay the price.”


Apparently you don't read what Congress OR "TEXAS" is doing, don't read about the subject even on the internet, don't even watch 60 MINUTES, FFS, but have this CERTAINTY about your positions against the GOP and TEXAS.

And JUST LIKE THE MASSIVE FRAUD in SSD and the government PUSHING people to go ON IT, so will go Obamacare, and you cannot even make HALF a case that it is not "government takeover". Especially in light of the Supreme Court decision that makes the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT responsible to create the Healthcare Exchange Marketplaces in the Federalist states. AND allows them to force citizens to buy something they don't want and impose FINES if they don't. You can't have it both ways.

I can't remember if I posted this or not but we received a letter from the Police union that handles our medical - the letter stated that we no longer have a co-pay on our prescriptions (we paid from $5 to $25 per 3 month prescription)...the letter stated that the co-pay removal may be temporary. I'm on allergy meds and husband gets one prescription for his diabetes - so this isn't a huge savings but hey, its a savings. We have Blue Cross/Anthem insurance. We are waiting for the other shoe to drop.
