My mom doesn't wanna pay 100-300 a bucks a month for health insurance saying why have insurance if I am not going to use it. SO its like ok then why have it anyway? Even if it was for 100% FREE my mom would complain.

Why can't you apply for Covered California (aka ACA aka Obamacare) ??
You are who it was created for.

What in the world? Sounds like you need a dose of your own medicine

Did you mean Medi-Cal? As in you live in California? If you are eligible for the Dept of Rehab Services I understood it to mean you'd qualify for Medi-Cal based on a disability. I could be wrong but you may want to call them and check

If you are low income, you don't need to buy health insurance. You may also be exempt from buying insurance under one of their hardship rules.

Do like all my neighbors, work under the table, live in a section 8 home, pay your Red Lobster tab with your IBT card and drive around with your fully paid for Cadillac.

That way you not only get your healthcare for free but get a 6,000 Check from Obama to pay for those ringtones on the Obama phone!!

Isn't Obama wonderful :-)

All the health insurance type plans say I need to work making a certain amount of money a month and I don't work so I don't know.

You know disney, I'm just not sure what to tell you. When I was 26, I had three college degrees, a professional license, and a job that paid over $40,000 a year. That was back in 1986. I agree that times are hard right now for young workers trying to enter the labor force. However, I entered it back in 1984 and it was no piece of cake. The country had been through a major recession and unemployment had reached 10%. I went out and bought my own health insurance through Blue Cross.

Surely you can find some kind of employment. My 21 year old son has worked consistently when he wasn't attending the university.

Its very interesting that after having been on your parent's health insurance up to age 26, you seem to be looking for someone else to provide this for free. We do provide assistance for the truly needy in this country, but I'm not convinced you fall into that category.

Burger King has health benefits. They usually have openings. At least you can do that until you find something you like better.
