I have used NorthWest pharmacy to get a medication for less than the copay my insurance charged.

I had to buy 6 months worth of the medication in order to get the savings, but it ended up being 50% cheaper than 6 months of $35 per month, with free shipping.

I found the pharmacy staff at NW to be very professional.

I have since found GoodRX and I can get that med even cheaper that NorthWest, so will use GoodRX next time.

FYI, my doctor said getting foreign drugs is fine, but he said never get them from Mexico or China. When you order drugs from Canada, they may actually come to you from several different countries. Since we use Northwest Pharmacy, I asked and they do not get any of their drugs from either country.

I am thinking about going to a Canadian Pharmacy for some prescriptions. I worry about which ones are legitimate. From reading this thread it looks like Northwest or GoodRX. Is everyone still happy with them with no problems?
They are okay with faxing the prescription?

You must fax or email the prescription. Their staff are very helpful, and it is easy to call them to discuss questions - you will have no problem speaking to a live person when you call.

Except you will never ever get your money back from Canadian Pharmacy. Back in Feb I ordered a medication and because they ship it from India it took almost 6 weeks. I did not need it anymore and was advised by Canadian Pharmacy refuse the package so I can get a refund. I refused the package but never got my $110 back. I called them so many times. They promised me many times to investigate what was going on. Then promised so many times that they will make a deposit to my account within 5 business days, 3 bus days, etc....They never did. I am so upset. I just gave them my $ for nothing. Last time I called 10 days ago I got a different story - I was told that I will not get refund because they do not do refunds....And it is up to company owner. I did a little research and discover that this particular Canadian Pharmacy owner is in Arab Emirates....Lovely... What should I do?

I was planning on buying name brand prescription so hopefully it would get shipped from Canada. From what I have read if you order generic it could come from various countries which I don't want. I would rather pay extra for the name brand.

The point of shipment and point of sale is absolutely meaningless in the authenticity of a medication. The source of the ingredients is the most important. So, you buy from a reputable pharmacy in Canada that everyone says to use because of low prices. If the product is manufactured in Pakistan, from ingredients sourced from India and distributed from a center in Vietnam, what are the odds its authentic? There are no guarantees the named brand items you buy in the USA are always 100% authentic but at least if anything goes wrong, you have recourse.
