For those to which this applies...

If you are comfortable, adding your plan, age & state would be helpful

Thank you

What is the purpose of your question? Are you asking for yourself? Pricing has many variables.

For the answers to have any value, you need to know:
  1. Age
  2. Sex
  3. State
  4. Type of Medigap - F, G. N (or J, L, M), or high-deductible F
  5. Insurer
  6. Pricing: Community, issue-age, or attained age pricing
  7. If bought outside a guaranteed issue period, does price reflect issues identified in medical underwriting
  8. How long have you had the policy with that insurer - in other words is the risk pool closed and are those in it getting older and sicker
  9. Is price discounted b/c more than one in household is insured
  10. What other perks are included - like gym membership, free diagnostic tests and to what $$ limit (included w/some hd-F's)
High-deductible F's at age 65 can range from $32/mo. to $90/mo. depending on state. Regular Medigap F's can range from $110/mo. on up to well over $400/mo. depending on age and carrier. Cost-sharing Medigaps can be lower. Generally, prices in the south and southwest are lower than northern states.

Etc., etc., etc.

Living in Canada none of this applies to me as i get full coverage for merely being Canadian and being alive, everything is paid through taxes, although it isnt itemized on my pay stub a ball park guestimate of deductions for healthcare would probably be in the $200 a month range.
