I have health plan with Texas BCBS and it's got a $6500 individual and 14k family deductible. Somehow that's still not considered eligible for HSA accounts I want to see if there's anything out there for us middle income folks.

Based on this link your plan should be considered a HDHP.

Not all HDHP are HSA compatible. The OP's $14k family deductible exceeds the $13,300 MOOP for HSA compatibility shown in the link. Also, copay plans are not HSA compatible even if the deductible and MOOP fall within the thresholds.

OP, I assume it is not a group plan based on the high deductible. If it is a group plan, some employers offer Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA).

That's a shame. Everything is so complicated, it's sad.

Nope not a group plan. This is really insane. Most of my visits are charged FULL price. WTF Obamacare!!!

You have a plan where you pay every out of pocket until you meet that sky high deductible. If you are relatively healthy, you can save tons of money and not have to pay everything out of pocket. Now, it’s not for everyone but it’s quality coverage through CIGNA PPO. Feel free to message me for some info
