I think each state has their maximum salary requirements, like in NY is higher and lower in other states. But to be honest, I dont know much about medicaid, I do know that a person making 50K in NYC can live in projects while in other states they cant.

I know for the medicaid you have to reapply in that state

I believe each state is different; you really should check with the state you are moving into so you will know what you are up against.

I think you would need to make sure to let the state you are now with know you are moving. You will have to reapply in the new state. I would ask the current state if they would be able to contact the next state so that you do not go without insurance.

Do a search for "Health and Human Services Dept of Arizona" (or whatever the state is) or go to AZ.gov and look through the state department links. I'm sure you can find out what the situation will be BEFORE you move.
