Is there anything that can be done to help a woman in her 60's that has bony hands? It's mostly between the thumb and the index finger area. Gaining weight?

Skin thins as we age which is why older people have blue veins showing. Some collagen breaks down. The only way to improve the hand appearance is to see a plastic surgeon who will inject into the bony area (some kind of filler like Restylane). But it doesn't last and has to be repeated.

They say our hands show age first, but don't feel bad--I'm 51 and I've got 3 ganglion cysts on my fingers, and if you don't think that looks witchy. . .
