Exclamation Recovering from an ovarian cyst burst... need advice

In October I had pain in the right lower abdomen. I went with this pain for about 2 weeks.. it did not ease up at all. I got to the point where I couldn't sleep straight through a night, it hurt to bend, stoop, breath. I lost my appetite.
I finally went to the ER at the beginning of November and had all sorts of tests done, including the pelvic, MRI, ultrasound and blood work. They told me that I had an ovarian cyst that had burst. I was given Hydrocodone and was told that it would take me anywhere from 1-3 months to fully heal from the pain. I know that its coming on December, but the pain is getting worse not better. It still hurts to walk up steps, bend, stoop, I can't wear jeans or anything tight. I can't be on my feet for very long cause it hurts from standing. I'm still not sleeping straight through the night, I still have no appetite.
The only way the pain eases up is if I lay in the fetal position.
I'm tired of feeling tired and sore all the time. I just want to get back to normal.

What I'm asking for I guess is advice. Do you think there maybe more than that wrong? Is there anyone else out there who has the same thing or went through the same?

I'd love to go back to the ER but I don't have health insurance anymore and can't afford it. Please let me know what you think is going on.. any advice is greatly appreciated.

Have a good night.

It's time to see a gynecologist. The ovary may have been damaged by the cyst and needs to be removed. Or you may be developing another cyst. Don't take a chance.

You should have been advised to see a gynecologist after the ER. Go!

These are the two things I immediately thought of. It is not uncommon to have for someone prone to cysts to have multiple cysts.

Do you have a free clinic in your area? Going to a gynecologist would be less expensive than the ER, but you also can't always get in right away, and they'll still send you to get imaging, which is expensive.

Maybe gall stones? I think you get pain from those on the right side, under your ribcage.
