Default reading glasses from the Veterans Medical Center ?

I wonder about the quality of the glasses I get from the Veterans Medical center.I go once a year and the give me a new pair each time some are OK and other times it seems I cant get used to them.Does any one out there have this problem?

I'm sure the skill of lens craftsmen varies from one VAMC to another, so maybe it's a problem unique to where you are.

When I wore glasses, I'd just get the prescription from the VA and buy my glasses at Lenscrafters because I didn't like the frame choices at the VA.

If you can't get used to them you should go back and get the prescription checked... sometimes it takes 2-3 tries to get my prescriptions right.
