I have a fever of 104.5 deg F. What temperature does one normally declare "too high" and go see a doctor? I started feeling ill yesterday and today I had the fever. I just have some fatigue and no pain or anything beyond staying in bed too long then having to get up.

Time to go to the doctor......NOW!......take aspirin.......get hydrated......take alcohol sponge baths.....that's dangerously high....and good luck.

This was the case of the broken thermometer. I took a cab to an urgent care clinic and the temperature was 102.5.

???

So I invested in a new thermometer, and am resting and feeling better that I'm not dangerously sick!
