In mid Jan. my eardrum ruptured due to a severe head flu. I got an infection and had to go to the hospital. I took my medication like prescribed and wore an ear plug when taking a shower, like I was advised. My ear healed up (so I thought) and the sensitivity to sound went away gradually. Then the other day I went to an amusment park, it was loud from people screeming on rides, that is expected of course. That aggravated my ear a bit but it got better with-in a few hours. Well I took a nap the day after and woke up and found that the ear (that was infected 6 weeks ago) is very sensitive to sound again. Do you think it could have ruptured again? If it did get ruptured again why would I be sensitive to sound today and not when I got back from the amusment park the other day? Is this normal with adults (I am in my 30's)? What kind advice do you have?
Thank you kindly for your advice on this matter, I have never had this issue before with my ear so it is kinda scary to me.

Sorry but I can't afford a doctor right now, I am unemployed and I have an $*&# Hospital bill that is sky high. No family no one to help me, this is why I was asking if anyone had this problem. Thanx

MOST cities have a city or county hospital where indigents can go for medical treatment.

They require a long wait time but since you dont have anything pressing to do .....there ya go....
