But I dont know what kind. I am 50ish female, and menapausal. I am crying all the time, I am nervous and full of anxiety. I can not even hold a conversation because my voice is shaking so bad. I dont know what to do and I need immediate help. I phoned my GP today and was told I had to wait two and a half weeks to see him. What do I do, I need help now!

Go to a walk-in clinic. They can prescribe hormones or anti-depressants, whichever they think you need. You can buy some Black Cohosh Root at an organic grocery, but don't take it with hormones as it is a natural hormone.

You can also try some valerian and/or skullcap capsules . They are a natural sedative, really work and are not addictive. Also keep a pot of chammomile tea brewing ALL the time. It will calm your nerves and soothe your innards. Warm chammomile bath, candlelight, soft music followed by a clean soft bed at night. Take the time to heal 'til you're balanced.
And YES! Try a walk in clinic if you're in the throws of a panic attack! Can your GP give any advice over the phone, your pharmacist? I personally go the natural herb route but whatever you're comfortable with, you need to do something. No family or close friends to lean on?

You could also call back and ask to be put on a call back list in case someone cancels. You could also call around and see if someone else can see you or go to an urgent care clinic. If it becomes too much before you can be seen go to the ER.

I don't think it's safe to be recommending ANYTHING except seeing a Doctor as quickly as possible and getting a MEDICAL diagnosis.
We don't know that this is "just" the menopause.
Neither do we know what medications you are taking, or your past/present medical history.

And Black Cohosh has a HUGE list of drug interation associated with it
Black cohosh Drug Interactions - Drugs.com

as does Valerian.

Simple way to get to see your Doc is to go to the office (with a friend or family member-maybe you shouldn't be driving at the moment) and let them see how ill you are and ask for an urgent appointment. Tell them you're having suicidal thoughts if you have to.
I think they would be on very dodgy ground to refuse you.

Failing that go to Urgent care and tell them your family physician refused to see you urgently.

Good Luck and hope you feel better in not too long

I'd bet that your estrogen is messing up so go to a OB-GYN to get "fixed".

Go to an Urgent Care clinic. It's sounds like you have a hormone imbalance... but I am NOT a dr. Your symptoms sound miserable. I hope you get to see a professional soon.
