There's a lot going on here. You may want to schedule an appointment with your family doctor, and/or a nutritionist.

You know, the way Mother Nature intended. Follow the above 3 guidelines, and you'll be fine....
....and possibly obese, and have high cholesterol and other nutritionally related problems.

Why would you eat that much fast food?

You are constipated, you are not having pizza withdrawl.

Eat berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries), pears, figs, papaya, oranges, apples, grapes, oatmeal, fresh veggies and drink a lot of water. Have some prunes if you must as well. Those will all get you cleaned out.

Then don't go back to your fast food diet.
With the kind of digestive issues (including a lot of gas) he/she is having, that much sugary fruit is not the best idea.
A small amount of fresh fruit (away from other foods) is o.k. but, at this point, it's better to get roughage from fresh vegetables.

I wasn't suggesting he eat ALL of those...I was giving examples of fruits that will help him eliminate.

Not all fruits will work that way, for example bananas will just make matters worse. That is why I listed specific fruits.

That was not clear.

But i could have said, "take it really easy on the fruit."

Default I was addicted to carbohydrates and this cured me.

I was eating on the run and grabbing pretzels and diet colas. I kept thinking I am OK so far but I knew better because we normally ate reasonably healthy.

I gave up all grains for months to get over the addiction and now, 9 or 10 years later we rarely even buy bread.

I have a ton of information on my blog on how to eat healthy with recipes for my yummy fruit smoothies and salad with Flax seed dressing, etc.... I lost 20 pounds following the healthy steps.

Stop Constipation.

Don't let the name throw you. Yes it will help many people stop constipation but it really just shows how to eat healthy for general health and well being. You really can live without those crummy simple carbohydrates. In fact, I get most of my carbs from my fruit and veggies and a little Gluten Free Snacks.

Both gluten from the pizza crust and the cheese contain a small amount of morphine and eating pizza every day may actually have had you addicted to opiates.

Casein and Gluten, opiate receptors, and GFCF withdrawal | CorePsych Blog

Any pain you feel now may have previously been masked by the opiates in your pizza.
