When am eating, or immediately thereafter I always get very cold. I usually cannot get through a meal without putting a sweater on. Even when I am eating outside in the summer time and it is hot, I usually will get cold when I eat. (I do not drink really cold drinks when I eat, usually - so it is not that).

Why do you suppose this happens? I'm mystified.

This has always happened to me. I just keep a sweater around and put it on during lunch. I've heard it's because when you eat, your body sends extra blood to your stomach to help digest and that makes the rest of you get slightly colder. Maybe that's just an old wives tale, but I definitely get cold every time I eat too.

It's true....bloodflow is increased to the alimentary canal to begin and continue the process of food digestion, peristalisis and elimination. ( a lot of energy expenditure going on )

Good observation.......it happens to me too.

I have been a low grade fever and stomach aches after I eat lately, so I feel like I am getting cold but it's actually a slight fever.

there is a very simple physiological and anatomical explanation for why this happens, but since you avoid allopathic medicine, i suggest you ask a naturopath, or homeopathist, and i'm sure not only will they provide a reason, but also sell you a remedy to help.

Well, it can be annoying. I'd be happy to consider a remedy to help - as long as it is holistic.
