I have not made any changes at all...in soaps shampoo etc.....have had this for two months...
visited my cousin for few days 3 hrs away and itch was gone...came home and it came back.
So it is something here. Cannot imagine what.

Medicine is not it....taking atarax for the itch, it works sometimes...but not all the time. I am losing sleep...
It must be environmental....but what?

Default Dear AnonChick, Face itch

Please can you tell me what happened. I have the exact problem you do. Derm's haven't been able to help me at all.... I can't put my glasses on (to see) without it aggravating this spot on my nose/cheek...
Help. Thanks,

But when I'm stressed, this little spot starts to itch. Doctor gave me a name for this thing, and explained that in layman's terms, it's just a very minor twitch in a nerve. He said there's nothing to do for it unless the itch causes me to scratch til it bleeds. Then, he'll have to deaden it with a laser or a hot needle, and that would likely leave a scar. No treatment, it comes and goes, and doesn't particularly bother me. It did when it first started happening though. I couldn't figure out why I was itching so badly and couldn't see a spider bite!

Thumbs up Face itching

I saw a neurologist and they think the itch is related to scar tissue on nerves in my face from previous brakes (nose/face) do to head on accident and reconstructive surgery to face/nose/cheek bones 25 years ago. They had me try neurogen creme which helps. The only other resolve is surgery.
