1. How do you know they're not dissolving? The only way -you- would know that they're not dissolving, is if they pass, unchanged, through your feces. You'd have to dig through that, and clean it off, and inspect it thoroughly to see if any of it has dissolved.
2. Check your diet and OTHER medications. If you really honestly are passing these pills undissolved through your colon, then are you also taking a laxative? Does your doctor know about it? Cause that stuff isn't supposed to just run through you undissolved.
3. If your insulin levels are levelling out, then they're working.
