WASHINGTON -- The chemical at the heart of the planet’s most widely used herbicide -- Roundup weedkiller, used in farms and gardens across the U.S. -- is coming under more intense scrutiny following the release of a new report calling for a heightened regulatory response around its use.
Who would have thought that genetically modifying plants to sustain direct sprays from pesticides, then spraying the everliving **** out of those plants with said pesticides, would somehow make that food harmful for human consumption? Round up doesn't cause birth defects or cancer. Just ask the totally unbiased scientists that work for Monsanto.
The average elite athlete will die by the age of 67 (NFL players only 55), considerably lower then the 77-year life expectancy of the average American (2005 study). I've always thought that playing field maintenance chemicals are one of the reasons. Of course, performance-enhancing drugs don't help either.
