Just wondering, after I shave I get razor bumps. I use Gilette Shaving Cream. Regular non-electric razor.

Afterwards I get the razor bumps. I've actually started using powder, on my Face. After I shave, When I'm bout to sleep, and a few hours before work.
That seems to clear it up for a hew hours.

Then they would get irritated as day goes forward.
These bumps are around the beard area and
Under the chin. So I am assuming they are razor bumps. They haven't fully went away for a while. I'm also told they maybe ingrown hairs.

I've also tried a few lotions and soaps. Doesn't work much.

I plan to talk to a doctor about it, but also just wondering if anyone could recommend a product.
Could anyone recommend any specific products?

Rinse your razor in cold water while shaving instead of hot.

I'll second the TendSkin. I don't get razor bumps often but when I do, that's what I use and it works great.

I also use TendSkin. It's a little pricey but it works.

I like this stuff which I get at Walgreens. I'm not crazy about the cologne fragrance. It's easy to confuse this stuff with their shaving cream.

The best product i have found to get rid of and prevent razor bumps is the Finickey Soothing stick or razor bump stick. My wife actually found this for me. Its only about 13 bucks. The website is Finickey - A luxury beauty brand specializing in multi-ethnic skin and hair care.. Hope this helps. If someone can tell me how to post pics I can show you neck.

Waxing helps, but I have to look into tend skin. Never heard of it until now.

I didn't find Tend Skin to be all that expensive. But I rarely need to use it, and a single drop goes a long way. It's perfect to prevent ingrown hairs in areas where you are prone, whether you shave or not. It's also perfect for the bikini area. You only need to drip a drop on a cotton ball and dab it where you need it to be.
