If only choosing one which would be? I see Chia are good, yet Flax may not digest/breakdown well in the body to absorb well. But I see Hemp can increase strength of heartbeat & lower heart rate, thus increasing BP & causing issues this way? This was said of Canadian Hemp but not sure if this means the store-bought seeds you eat in bags? I'm lost here. lol Thanks.

It would appear that Chia will store the longest before going rancid. Honestly, why choose just one? Doesn't variety in dietary sources usually serve the body best?

Yeah, I'm with MOgal--try them all. One caveat: it seems like hemp seeds could cause you to test positive on a drug test? Something to keep in mind.

I like to chew on flax seeds in the car when I'm driving long distance. It keeps my mouth entertained chasing those little buggers around and I'm less likely to get sleepy and stop for chocolate or coffee.

We use all three also - hemp and flax almost every day, and chia a couple of times a week.

Thx again, I just eat them all. I used too grind up flax seeds a few yrs ago but should go back to it. Also, hemp & chia I love. ALL cost a bit, so gotta watch the food budget.

I've gotten conflicting info recently on hemp. Some say omega-3 vs omega-6 is not good here. Are chia clearly ahead of hemp then, for overall health? If so, I'll drop the pricier hemp seeds in favor of only the lower cost chia. This is confusing me seeing this info, this coming after I thought I researched this topic well.

I eat, almost every morning on my red river cerial, a tablespoon of crushed flax seed(it has to be crushed, or you'll just $h!t it out, without benefit)...I love the nutty flavour plus the fact that it super high in fiber, and anti-oxidants...loaded with omega-3 fatty acids....and way above most grains with it's high vitamin B content as well as magnesium, and manganese...

I used to grind in coffee grinder, Flax seeds, but I heard they're not well balanced omega-wise. Any truth?

If so, I'm going to order the Hemp but haven't yet due to confusion, as to if money is better spent on Chia or something else, w/ a BETTER profile of omega-3 to bad omega-6 oils/fats in foods/nuts/seeds.
