That would be normal if you were stung and did nothing to try to help. You should have taken Benadryl and still can, which should help some. You should have made a paste of either baking soda and water or better yet meat tenderizer and water and put it on it for an hour or so right after the sting. Doubt that would do anything to help now. You should have then put ice on it and not sure if that would help now or not but you could try.

Default natural bee sting remedies

For the inflammation: Cut a potato in quarters and apply directly to the sting. Potatoes contain allantoin, a substance that soothes inflammation.

For the itching: Applying lemon juice or apple cider vinegar directly to the affected area should help relieve itching.

Swelling should go down in 2 to 3 days. The itching is a result of the swelling.

You are probably mildly allergic to bee venom.

You might also try household ammonia applied with a swab to the sting...also works great.
If you have an allergy you would probably been in the hospital by now so you may have a sensitivity instead (which is common)

You can try icing it and using some topical mild hydrocortisone cream, but if you were my patient, I'd want you to come in and be checked out, particularly since you're ~72 hours post-sting. It sounds like an early cellulitis which is an infection in the soft tissue of the body. Or maybe not. I think you should see your provider.
