good luck with your quit rural lady. I quit using the patch with the gum as back up. I can understand where the e cigs would help with the hand to mouth habit but if it has no nicotine in it you still will experince nicotine withdrawal. why not use the gun or patch along with the e cig? the patch can be tailored to the amount you smoke. the lowest patch if I remember right is about like smoking 3 or 4 cigs a day. the strongest was a pack or so. the gun is an at will kind of thing.

it helps to remember a craving has a start a middle and an end. kinda like a labor pain it will have a peak and then be over.

there are some great on line quit forums which can really help as well one is at "about" dot com, lots of help and understanding. quitting is doable and once past it you will be so happy you got rid of the habit

Ecigs come in varying rates of nicotine...0-36mg is available from the right place. It is best to have 2 levels available to figure out which is best for you.

being able to regulate your nicotine intake with how much you normally smoke using "replacement therapy" is the key to suffering as little as possible with withdrawal.
