Her shock came probably because there's a large amount of adults...over that age or so...in the U.S. who are on medications.

I am way way way past 25 and do not take any medications. I used to, back in the early 2000's, but weaned myself off of them (blood pressure meds with terrible side effects), started exercising regularly and watch what I eat.
When I go past any pharmacy, there are always long lines of sheeple getting their monthly meds. Some people like to take them and not change their lifestyle. I know many people like that. They want to keep doing what they are doing and take their magic pill.

Well-said, Pinkstring! Our Natural Supplement stores often have what we need to repair our bodies and rid-us of many conditions. I drink a couple of teaspoons of raw, unpasteurized and unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar every day of my life. I eat lots of homecooked beans, and very little breads or carbs these days. I "luv" blueberries, spinach and bananas.

I also meditate/pray silently daily. Impatience not only destroys the soul IMO but it helps to cause disease.

I am 41 and the only meds I have ever taken in the past was zyrtec and an anxiety pill. Have not needed the anxiety pill in 2 years, but still take the Zyrtec in the sping and summer.

I'm 52 and take only an over-the-counter antihistamine as needed to tolerate living with two cats.

Mid 30's, no meds here either. Although the nurse reaction doesn't really surprise me, 90% of the women I've met are either in antidepressants, sleeping pills, pain killers, or something else.
