My husband has been using Synvisc treatment on his knees for about five years. He is bone to bone in both knees which makes for much pain. He gets the injections from our orthopedist about every 6 months. They come in a series of three and run around $900 for the series. Our BCBS pays for them. He will eventually have to have knee replacements, but is under 60 years and insurance would rather pay for Synvisc than replacement surgeries at this time.

They moved up the date for my injections. I forgot that it's coming around this week, Thursday afternoon. I will let you all know how it goes. That's if I go through with the shot.
