Hi there..I was diagnosed with Menieres in 2009 right after the birth of my second child at age 32. I have been on steroids on and off for a year after that every time I had changes in hearing and suffered from tinnitus. In 2010 I had an attack in January where I had hearing changes again and the steroids helped again. My ENT said I am one of those rare cases where steriods actually help bring back the hearing to 100%. Then I came across the John Of Ohio regimen. I asked my ENT if I should try it and he poo poo'd it. I asked my regular physican and he said to try it since all it was was vitamins. It has been 2 years since I have started the regimen and I have not had any attacks at all. knock on wood....

the ear pressure has lessened to where I actually feel normal in the left ear. I have tinnitus off and on but I have it more when I haven't slept well and when I skipped the vitamins.

Try the vitamins and see if it works...with this disease, I was willing to try anything since the last thing you want to hear from a doctor is "sorry, there is no cure and you just have to learn to live with it"

I'm glad you found something that has helped you. Steroids did not help me at all, but I have been drinking green tea and that seems to be helping. I am also doing the low salt diet.
