My Husband said the prep was fine and did not taste like much. I also think there are different prep drinks too. He mixed his with crystal light. The whole procedure was no big deal either and I went with him but he was able to drive home. I guess everyone's experience is different and I thnik age and health have alot to do with it. He's only 39.

They have progressed regarding this, my last one was a couple months ago. My first one ( a Sigmoid)-was done in early '91. Now the stuff I drank back then? Truly bad!

Awww, it's not so bad, really. My tip? Let the Gatorade or whatever you're using to mix the prep with warm to almost room temperature. Keeps your innards from cramping up and you don't get chills from drinking all that cold liquid..worked for me...

The first time I woke up while they were doing it and started yelling "ow!". They gave me
some more sedation but I woke up again before he was done. They claimed it wasn't true so I told them
how the Dr went to the phone and what he said were the findings...then they believed me.
Last time I went to a different Dr and told him how I woke up twice, whatever he gave me or how
much I don't know but I don't remember anything. I'm due for another one again soon...
