Will be mattress shopping soon. Not my favorite thing. I tend to get nauseous going from bed to bed twisting and turning trying them out. Hear good and bad things about Memory Foam beds especially that it gets hot in the summer. Heard good things about Latex Foam beds and that they don't get you hot and are hypoallergenic. What type is your favorite? We have back issues and get warm easily.

Thanks for speeding up the reading process Loves! I got to page 5 and then was interrupted. My husband and I stayed at a B&B that had a Tempurpedic topper but my hubby didn't like it. For sleeping it was fine

Sleep Number. Love it. Have had one for ten years. Used to have hip and joint pain and overall joint stiffness when I woke up. Don't know what it is about the Sleep Number system, but I haven't had that since the last time I had to stay at a hotel - in my non-sleep number bed.

BUT - I have never tried a Temperpedic. I hear those are great as well. Some folks think that they can keep you too hot... Others don't.

I started sleeping on the floor a year and a half ago. I will never go back to a mattress again. I use only a double-folded blanket under my hips and shoulders, on a carpeted floor. It takes a week or so to get used to it and find a sleeping posture that's comfortable. Best of all, my nightly leg cramps immediately stopped and never came back. I now require only about 6 hours sleep a night.
