thoughts on shaklee?
Years ago I sold shaklee (mostly to myself!). Never really made a business of it but did buy my own vitamins, etc. with my dealer membership. I am thinking of trying their vitamins again. Anyone have any great or not so great experiences with the company? Thanks

I am technically "with" shaklee too. I have used many of their products. I was just hoping to hear other perspectives about the quality of the vitamins, etc as compared with other brands. Thanks though

Shaklee Vitamins
I "got" into shaklee in the mid 80's. I was gung ho for quite awhile. I managed to make it to Supervisor and got a car. All was well for awhile, then things slowed up abit. Wasn't getting enough leads and sponsors. Soon after, I had to sell the car. I was left with alot of inventory which I sold to my upline supervisor. I love the products and still use them to this day. You can do all the right things, but you still need a little luck in this business. I took a shot, it didn't pan out for me. Hey......you can't have everything. Go for it, maybe you'll make it.

I have used Shaklee products now and then over the years. IMO, they are OK products, but nothing special, and a bit too pricey. I was never interested in the business side of Shaklee, though I had some friends who moved enough products to pay for the products they personally used. Not a bad deal when you think about it.

Shaklee vitamins are great!
I think the vitamins are great. They came out with a new vitamin strip called "Vitalizer". It has 12 patents and contains 80 different nutrients - all your body needs.
I would recommend them to anyone who wants better health.
Have you read the Landmark Nutritional Study done by UC Berkeley? It shows that Shaklee users are far and away much healthier than the average American.
Right now Shaklee has a deal if you buy 50PV worth of stuff (which is exactly what the Vitalizer is) then you get a free membership.
I have lots of info if you want to know more.

I didn't know Shaklee still existed! When I was a kid I was fed the protein bars during the day for my hypoglycemia. And the Vit C tabs were delicious! Do the bars still taste the same? What a memory!

My opinion as well. Nothing wrong with them, but you can get products just as good or better for a lot less $$ at a good health food store.

Nature's Sunshine here too
My wife just received her master herbalist certification and has about one more year to finish her ND. She did a lot of research and chose Nature's Sunshine over everything else. Since she started her practice she gets hit up weekly from other vitamin and supplement companies. She researches each one before deciding to offer them to her clients Shaklee is not one of the products she offers and I know she researched it a couple of times. I do not remember why she chose not to sell it, I just know she doesnt.
