Dear world’s famous and well known City-Data Forum,
My name is Valery Korobeynyk, I am male, 59 y.o., live and work in small Ukrainian town Kobelyaky.
27 February 2008 I had the most important operation in my life - Total Hip Replacement.
Now with me unfortunately all is not the excellent but I am feeling and rather not so bad. I can work, I go and walk even for not so short distance and try to lead practically normal and physically active life.
Excuse me my maybe not so good English, mistakes in this letter but I'll be glad if my case and my not so bad experience after more than 3.5 years-anniversary after THR will be interesting and helpful for people with similar operations.
I love friends, I like to travel, I like to write letters therefore I’ll be more than glad if maybe with Your Forum I can find good pen pal or maybe even a real new friends around my Ukraine, especially in USA and NY (it is biggest dream of my life), who knows?
Miracles take place at this our world, isn’t it?
I DON’T KNOW WHY MY FIRST LETTER TO THIS FORUM FROM MARCH 18, 2008 WAS NOT SO INTERESTING FOR VISITORS but and now I'll try to answer to everyone.
Today is 7-th Jan - our Christmas - therefore I send to all of you the best wishes from me and my small but famous Ukrainian town Kobelyaky.
Sincerely yours,
Valery.

Congratulations on a successful recovery! Your English writing has improved since 2008, I just checked your other post. I wasn't a member then, and didn't see it until today. I have trouble with my hip but I don't need any surgery for it. It is osteopenia and exercise has helped a little. It will eventually get worse but so far, it is only uncomfortable sometimes.

If I ever do need THR, it's good to hear a success story likes yours. So thank you!
