Has anyone had success with using apple cider vinegar to alleviate cold symptoms? I read it's a natural cure, but haven't tried it--yet. Have a head cold and wondered...?

I have good luck with Airborne. There's a chewable form now that is quite tasty. Always works for me.

Have you tried Cold-Eze? I haven't but their ads say it shortens a cold by keeping the cold viruses from replicating.

Vinegar is good on certain foods and great for a variety of other uses but its benefits are overhyped.

I read it was supposed to help with sinus infections, and I tried it a few times mixed with water. There was no difference in two days, and I didn't really care to drink it any longer.

Seemed to help me some for sore throats. I would gargle warm salt water with 2 caps of apple cider.

I had no luck curing a cold. All you can really do is eat healthy, get plenty of sleep and take extra vitamins

I knew a man that swore by apple cider vinegar. He drove truck and carried a bottle with him. He would take a daily sip of about a tablespoon each day. I just forget what benefits he thought there were to taking the vinegar?

Firstly and maybe most importantly, it's alkaline forming and creates a pH balance that's just a bit higher than neutral which is optimal.
An acidic body is more prone to disease.
Apple cider vinegar has a myriad of health benefits.
Google and see.
I put 2 teaspoons in a large glass of water (16 oz.) and drink that throughout the day.
