if I don't eat breakfast I'm fine... without any hunger pains???

What are you eating for breakfast? If it's heavy on carbs (cereal, milk, sugar, etc) your hunger is likely being driven by an insulin spike. Try eating protein (eggs, meat, cheese,) and green vegetables instead and see if that changes things.
