So when one has high blood pressure are you not supposed to treat clogged sinuses until it becomes a full blown infection?? There aren't any over-the-counter medications that are deemed "safe" except for Coricidin HBP which does not decongest despite two separate pharmacists telling me that's what I needed..
I use nyquil cough and cold and I take blood pressure medication daily as well as other medication for a chronic auto immune liver disease.
Mucinex is an awsome thing that I only discoverd two years ago.
As far at the neti pot goes, it's best to use it regularly BEFORE a problem occurs. When I have a cold or clogged nasal passages I physically CAN'T use it. If air can't get in either can water. For my day to day nasal allergies it's great though.
