The pain started Sunday. In my left shoulder. the day my mom died.

The pain is in top portion of shoulder ...where the hump is and all around..

thought it was stress. but it gets WORSE each few hours.

this morn it was so painful i was wincing. yet could reach up and open the curtains.

NOW the pain is so bad when i went to close the curtains the pain was so excruciating I SCREAMED !! (that made my kid laugh) i did sound funny.

Now i can't move it more than 5 inches in any direction
without excruciating pain...

what the heck is going on??!!

thanks much !!

I had that happen once. Could not relate it to any injury or anything I had done. What I did was to wrap myself in a sling so I could not move the shoulder at all. I took alot of advil, placed a heating pad on it, and basically layed around for a couple days. I think I tore something but not sure how it got that way.

You really need to call a doctor. Please do that for your own health. Diagnosis by internet is not a good idea. I hope you get better soon.

You have a sprained ankle on your shoulder.

Rotator cuff tear? Happened to me. Surgery, out three months.

I went through enormous pain and lack of sleep before going to see an ortho. Please go see a doctor soon. You'll be glad you did!

Rotator cuff. The surgery rarely works as promised. Try anti inflammatories rest it and pray for pain to subside.
